CAMPUS SUMMARY
Georgia Military College is a public-independent educational institution, whose mission and purpose is to produce educated citizens by providing junior college students with a liberal arts based two-year undergraduate curriculum designed to support student attainment of an associate’s degree and to prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The Augusta campus does not require any military obligation to attend. No SAT or ACT test scores are required. We administer the Compass placement test. No foreign language is required to enroll. Students finish more classes in a year under the quarter system. We support student success by offering smaller class sizes, free tutoring, and an array of classes during the day, evening, Saturdays, and online formats.
